Weither this supposition is true or false isn't the point, but the idea is I remember that when I first bought the game I had a S3 Trio (not 3D capable) and a Voodoo 3dfX (the first generation). I couldn't find no patch/command line option/reg modification to prevent the game from making such a check at launchĪfter a few search it seems that the game is so old it can't figure out that more than 512 mb video RAM exists and so considers I have 0 video RAM and can't play 3D game. Until recently it was not a problem because the game did install and play almost normally (except for a few ingame text not showing)īut recently I changed my graphic card from 8800 GTS (320 mb RAM) to 460 GTX (1 gb RAM) : since then the game does not recongnize my card and says I have no 3D card installed To make things simple what I'd like to do is play Motocross Madness (the first one) in windows VIsta 32 bits (DirectX 11 installed)
